Silver for the Holiday Season

If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know a few things about me are predictable: I wear (mostly) clean lines, pieces with architectural appeal, minimalist, monochromatic……and lots of black. Even though its the holiday season, if your style is similar to mine, you can be festive and enjoy holiday style without metallic and sequins……I still think simplicity is elegant and timeless. However, if you are ultra festive…..life is short: wear the sequins!!

This gorgeous blouse from Anine Bing is quite versatile. I’ve paired the blouse here with cropped faux leather pants (a little classic…..with a little edge), however, with a pencil skirt and a cami, you could also wear this to the office. Its a perfect blouse for a New Year’s eve gathering – or hosting a holiday event. The blouse can be found here. The blouse is TTS (true to size) and isn’t bulky or tunic length so its easy to tuck in.

Since the blouse is open in the front, its the perfect opportunity to layer your favorite necklaces. I have two of my favorites shown here. The longer link chain can be found here and the shorter, gold bar necklace can be found here. The faux leather pants I’m wearing are currently sold out but where last seen here. This pair here, is very similar and I also like these here.
